Clinical Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a wonderful tool for allowing the subconscious mind to access wisdom and support healing. This approach to treatment is effective because it allows us to shift long-held belief systems that have been embedded in our subconscious, often due to habitual messages and/or trauma we have experienced in earlier parts of our lives.
Contrary to pop culture’s frequent portrayal of hypnosis for entertainment purposes, there is no trickery involved in this process. The client is awake and aware of what is happening throughout the session, and has the ability to remember and communicate with the practitioner at all times.
Clinical Hypnosis is an intervention that can be easily used in a traditional course of psychotherapy but it is not, in and of itself, psychotherapy.
As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I offer this service both as part of my Marriage and Family Therapy work and also as a separate course of treatment. Clinical Hypnosis is a great fit as a stand-alone service for those who are not interested in pursuing a longer-term therapy process but who have targeted goals they want to address. This treatment on its own does not involve treatment planning and there is no diagnosing involved.
Examples of issues that can be attended to in Clinical Hypnotherapy are self-esteem, health concerns, anxiety, depression, weight loss, smoking/vaping cessation, specific fears/phobias, confidence, fertility, anger, mood management, pain management, and a host of others.
***Note*** Hypnotherapy can done remotely via Zoom or similar platform with great effectiveness! Some clients even prefer this method.

Past Life Regression
Past Life Regression is a Hypnosis offering that involves the practitioner guiding the client through the soul’s history in order to access memories and experiences that are embedded in the subconscious mind from previous lifetimes.
This type of session may include a womb regression component and may involve memories from one or multiple lifetimes. It may also involve communication from spirit guides and messages pertaining to current life concerns.
Many people choose to ask for a Past Life Regression session with the goal of “experiencing whatever is in my highest good” while others have specific issues they want the practitioner to direct the session to address. Either way, clients gain insight into how lingering themes from past experiences continue to have an effect on their functioning currently.
A frequently asked question is whether it is necessary to believe in past lives in order to have a successful session. The short answer is no. Many clients who do not believe in reincarnation, or who are unsure about their beliefs, have very powerful experiences that they consider helpful to them.
***Note*** Past Life Regression services are also offered remotely via Zoom or similar platform. Recordings are made and offered to the client of the Regression portion of the session.

Reiki
Reiki is a healing technique that emerged from Japan. The word “Reiki” is the joining of the word “Rei,” which means spiritual wisdom, and “Ki,” which means life force energy (also known as Prana, Chi, or Qi).
Reiki works by helping to activate the body’s own healing abilities through bringing in this life force energy. It can help enhance the immune system by clearing blockages in the client’s energetic field that can lead to disruptions in physical, mental, and emotional functioning. Reiki helps to restore balance by promoting relaxation and restoring a healthy flow of energy through the physical and energetic body.
Reiki is a beautiful treatment on its own or alongside other therapeutic modalities. As the energy body does not have the same physical and time limitations and constraints as the physical body, Reiki can be performed in person by the laying of hands on or near the body, or from a distance by the practitioner accessing the energetic body of the client.
